Jump(suit) around

Given I'm currently incapacitated somewhat (notice the glove puppet) I'm having to wear stuff that doesn't involve zips or buttons. This jumpsuit is perfect for that. I bought it for my recent holiday to Santorini (gorgeous place) but I also wore it when I attempted to work today.

It's really comfy, nicely tapered around the ankles and certainly makes a statement. Plus it's like wearing your PJ's, what's not to love?

It did seem to get a bit baggy around the crotch as the day wore on, but it wasn't too MC Hammer like.

Flash the Flesh!

When a group of bloggers join together for a chat you know that the final result has to be super!! And so this happened once more when, a few days ago, we were talking about our preferences between mini and maxi and Becky thought that it would be great to create a challenge which goal was to show a little bit more skin and our body (but with style and no vulgarity) showing proudly our curves. And so it was born “Flash the Flesh”.

I'm generally quite happy to flash, the cleavage is always out, have no problem wearing a bikini when I'm on holiday and I've learnt to embrace the bingo wings, but my legs are the one part of me I struggle to love. I thought joining this challenge might help...

My left ankle is deformed after spraining it several times which doesn't help me love my legs. I've a lot of scar tissue which makes it look like a fat cankle!

Anyway, this gorgeous dress was another IGIGI purchase, normally I'd wear it with black tights but that would defeat the object, plus you can't really wear a peep toe with a visible toe gusset! It's a lovely black lace with a gold under slip. I love the neckline and the cut of the dress. This is a bigger size than the maxi dress, based on the measurements on the website (US 18/20) and it fits pretty well. I may need a bosom button to retain some modesty at a wedding!

cleavage - always a winner

I love these shoes and snapped them up when I found a 25% off code as they are very pricey. I never wear heels but these are fairly low so I hopefully won't break my neck!

The Magnificent 7th - Maxi

7th June already, seriously where is this year going? I've managed to somewhat incapacitate myself, so thankfully took these photos before I had a new accessory to wear!

Anyway, back to the challenge!

We will be posting on the 7th of each month, and the aim of the challenge is to create an outfit to fit the theme, using clothes from our wardrobes, and yes that does mean digging deep into the depths and finding those long lost clothes! Hopefully one of us won’t end up in Narnia, but you never know with a bloggers wardrobe!

This month we're talking maxi. I must own at least 10 maxis, they are my summer staple, but as soon as I saw this months theme, I knew what I'd be posting.

A few months ago a number of gorgeous bloggers were running giveaways to win a $50 dollar voucher for IGIGI. I've 3 weddings to attend this year, so had been eyeing up several gorgeous creations on the IGIGI website. I was so lucky to win 2 vouchers, one from the beautiful Dani and the other from the gorgeous Mhairi. Thank you so much ladies!

This dress is the Adriana in Ruby and it's freaking awesome. I'd been lusting after it for a while, but it's really not cheap. I ordered several different options from various other websites, but none came close in my head to this beauty. So I bit the bullet and ordered this along with another dress I'll be posting tomorrow.

This dress is made from gorgeous silky material and is lined in jersey material so no clinging. This is the US 14/16 which fits my 38G's perfectly and skims my thunder thighs! I'll be wearing this in a couple of weeks to a wedding in Santorini in Greece. The straps mean I can wear any bra without worrying about flashing and it just feels amazing on.

The sandals are very similar to the Zara ones I bought last year but with a more open toe. I really didn't need 2 pairs almost identical, but I'm ridiculous.
