Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas any more.

Life is mental. In 2 weeks time I'll be a married lady and I'm in a complete state of disorganised chaos. I've had to do the work of 4 people the last week as my boss kindly approved holiday for most of the team, so any ideas of sorting out my personal chaos, have gone out the window.

Instead of spending this weekend packing (we leave on Thursday), we're spending 10 hours on a train to surprise my mother for her 60th. My planning is poor!

So no outfits from me for the past week, but I do have these beauties to share with you. My wedding shoes, see how sparkly they are. My little sister stuck all of these crystals on, isn't she clever?

Same old stuff

It would appear I get married in 3 weeks time. I'm yet to try on my wedding dress (this happens on Saturday  apparently) but other than that, I think we are sorted. Famous last words, perhaps? I had better blooming like it.

In at attempt to be super organised, I've written a list of everything I want to take away with me. I've so many new clothes that haven't really had an outing due to the crappy weather so it'll be nice to have some sun so I can actually wear sandals and sun dresses instead of trousers, cardies and pumps.

In the meantime, I'm wearing a lot of old stuff. I'm trying really hard not to spend money and I have a mountain of clothes I want to take away with me already but I can't stop browsing online shops. It's an addiction I tell you. I need to stop spending money.

These trousers are new, but I bought them ages ago so that doesn't count. They are so comfy that I feel like I am wearing PJ's. Gotta love that in a work trouser. This vest is one of my favourite's ever. I bought it in Tesco years ago and have looked ever since for similar styles (and failed mainly).

Spotty Swing Vest (18) - Tesco
Ankle Grazer trousers (22)- Simply Be
Jersey Cardigan (18) - New Look

This dress is another old favourite, but I've gone for red accessories instead of black to spruce things up a bit. I do love a bit of leopard and red.

That's why the lady is a tramp.....

I've been a very bad blogger this week. After a fantastic hen weekend (I'm still awaiting photo's) I've been absolutely shattered all week and looking worse than a dogs dinner. Plus I've been wearing old faithful's, so there was nothing to show you that you'd not seen before.

My hen weekend was amazing (there is more on my other blog if you're interested), but I'm getting too old for 48 hours non stop boozing. I've been in a right state ever since.

So back to matters at hand. Today is dress down Friday, so I am dressed like a tramp, but I kind of like it so you get to see photo's. If nothing else, to prove I am still here :)

I love the slouchy look with skinny jeans. I was once told as a 'larger' lady, I should avoid baggy, but you know what, I feel good in it, so I'll wear it. And Amen to that. This T-Shirt is actually a dress, but with a bit of tucking under, it kind of works as a t-shirt. Oh and I'm bespectacled today, these are my "driving at night glasses", but given how knackered I am this week, I need all the help I can get.

I bought these specs (Savannah 2249) after seeing the gorgeous Mrs BeBe sporting them. They were a total bargain at £6 including the prescription frames and anti-glare. So much cheaper than my opticians wanted to charge me and given I barely wear my glasses, who wants to spend hundreds of pounds?
